Cucina & Amore Artichoke Bruschetta

I didn’t actually get this Cucina & Amore Artichoke Bruschetta jar by choice…it showed up accidentally in my Imperfect Foods delivery. This type of product isn’t something I’d usually buy, but it wasn’t something that we were opposed to eating, either. In fact, we picked up a baguette to have special with it. And I decided to review it, because why not? Always like to shoutout unique places when I can…so here we are!

Gluten free and vegan

Anyway, story time over: How did it taste?

Well, I expected this artichoke bruschetta to be super oily and…thick, but it was not. It was somehow light but with this sort of graceful salty-savory hit. Umami, I think, is maybe the accurate term for its flavor profile. It tastes, in a way, like marinated artichoke hearts. Which makes sense for what it is. And it’s good! It hits and lingers for a little, but is neither overpowering nor heavy.

Texturally, it was chunky but lightly oily and soft. It spread well over crunchy bread. When we ran out of bread, we used it on chips and that was also tasty.

So, this Cucina & Amore Artichoke Bruschetta really took me surprise (I mean, beyond getting it in the first place) as this was something I would have never bought myself, but it was really tasty and enjoyable. It made for a unique part of our meals while it lasted. I definitely recommend it for people shopping for this sort of thing and for people who like the artichoke heart flavor.
