DAVIDsTEA Packing Review

I don’t know what this is. Wait. I do. This is a shout-out post/review to DAVIDsTEA for having such great packing. This isn’t a sponsored post or anything stupid like that, I literally wanted to share the quality of packing I experienced with my tea/tea press purchase.

If you’re buying food or tea or something online, you want your stuff to be shipped properly. Don’t want stuff being banged around and damaged. DAVIDsTEA did that and excelled in presentation.

Why? For one: the box was boldly branded.

Apologies for the Catan board in the background…needed the table.

You don’t have to ask: ‘who is this brown cardboard box from?’ The blue with the bold logo makes that perfectly clear. And it says it’s made in Canada, so that’s neat. I know Amazon has their logo on their boxes, but it’s so…normal to see now that I forget their boxes are branded.

Now for inside of this blue box….

All of the contents were wrapped in paper and then stuck together with a branded sticker. Like jeez, they took the extra step todo that.

The tear is because I peaked inside before snapping a picture.

Beyond that barrier, there was an envelope that contained my order summary (the contents of the box) and the free samples of tea that came with it. It was pretty cute being in a little envelope. Genius solution for storing those little things, to be honest.

After all that noise, the rest is pretty basic….air pouches to stop everything from moving and bubble wrap around the tea press-cups I purchased. A special 10th anniversary tumbler was in its own cardboard box.

So…the packing job on this box was top notch. There were two tea presses (their custom ones) and a tumblr that were the bulk of the weight of the shipment. Then there two bags of tea, and the samples. All came to my place without issue and were in great condition.

In a world where putting an item in a box and maybe having one air pouch is considered sufficient, DAVIDsTEA makes a new standard. Please, other sellers, take note from them!

If you’re concerned about buying from DAVIDsTEA online…don’t be. Had a great experience with it, obviously. Recommend their online shipping….as for their stuff…well, that’s another review, is it not?

Anyway, that’s the packing review. I know you come here and expect that, right?
