Lightlife Smart Dogs are plant based hot dogs. For some reason the mood to have hot dogs struck me, so we picked these up. They were really easy to cook. The instructions gave boil, grill, or microwave options, but we opted to boil them then finished them in the pan.

The texture was soft and chewy and the flavor reminded me of the hot dog meat I ate as part of Lunchables as a kid. Something like that, anyway. I experienced a little bit of nostalgia whilst eating them. I had them on hot dog buns (shocking) with a variety of condiments. All combinations were absolutely delicious.

These Lightlife Smart Dogs are really good. I would definitely get them again if the hot dog mood struck. Absolutely recommend them.
