Just like the name suggests, the Mast Brothers Stumptown Coffee Chocolate contains coffee. This is instantly noticeable as coffee is about the only thing tasted in this chocolate. Not much else to it. It has a vaguely chalky texture to it. It isn’t even that chocolaty. It is ostensibly a coffee bar. Nothing wrong with that, it just left a lot to be desired within my taste buds. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do appreciate coffee in chocolate. This bar, however, did not have the balance I expected from a coffee-chocolate combo. It was far to weighted to the former and not the latter. If this type of coffee-flavored chocolate interests you, definitely pick up the Mast Brothers Stumptown Coffee Chocolate.
