Pi Lo Chun Tea Leaves

Pi Lo Chun Green Tea

The Pi Lo Chun Green Tea comes as a cluster of little partial swirly-like leaves. The leaves are primarily green with bits of white on them and have a grassy smell to them.

The flavor itself is generally pretty mild bodied and grassy, but it can be bitter on the aftertaste. The more it steeps, the more grassy, bitter, and heavy it gets (to a point). However, there is a minor element of sweetness that lurks in its flavor profile that tries to counteract the bitterness—tries and doesn’t always succeed.

Overall, the Pi Lo Chun Tea is a nice green tea, but it is not my favorite. It’s good and I would probably recommend it, but I would opt for other varieties that I prefer more strongly to drink personally.
